Client Account and Business Support Executive

What are we looking for?

We currently have an exciting vacancy for a Client Account and Business Support Executive to join our team; you’ll be supporting the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement strategies that effectively communicate information to a wide range of stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to underpin messaging that resonates with local communities and help our clients achieve their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the coordination of stakeholder engagement events, digital communications and media campaigns including workshops and public consultations.

  • Support, develop and execute digital communications strategies, including social media campaigns and email newsletters.

  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of stakeholder engagement and communications strategies.

  • Stay current on policy changes, industry trends, and developments relevant to key sectors/verticals by regularly reviewing publications, reports, and industry news sources. Synthesise insights and apply to stakeholder engagement and communications strategies, ensuring messages align with the evolving landscape.

  • Identify and help develop new business opportunities through fostering relationships with existing and prospective clients, networking, and collaborating with the senior leadership team / senior directors to convert leads into new business partnerships.

More about you.

  • Have an interest in politics, history, law, communications, public relations, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to analyse data and draw insights that inform stakeholder engagement and communications strategies.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Ability to develop targeted pitch presentations and sales materials

  • Knowledge of digital communications strategies and tools, such as social media, email marketing, and website development

  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects

  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5.30 pm. We are based in Brighton and the East Midlands, and the role will be split between in-office (Brighton) and remote working.
